After much procrastination… tah-dah! A Vivien floppy beanie!
Turned out to be too big (64cm -.-;) but it’s pretty much just a test run anyway.
This is what I get for using a non-recommended wool… (I didn’t care for the colours) but I don’t feel like collecting and collating data on yarn thicknesses v needle size, to find the mathematical formulae needed, to be able to knit any pattern using x-yarn thickness y-needle diameter. (‘Cos that zaps the fun out of my *leisure* time…) ‘Course if you know of such a formula/graph/reference, could you point it my way??
TL;DR - …Trial and error ftw!
~4 days (7 w procrastination), 2x Moda Vera “Stallion” in Wine, 88 stitches cast kn, 5&6mm double pointed needles.
